Ibiza Hotels Back Open For Tourists Within Weeks

The hotel chain which owns one of Ibiza’s most iconic nightclubs has announced they are to reopen some of their hotels on the island at the beginning of July.

The Palladium Hotel Group – which owns the iconic Ushuaia nightclub – plan to reopen the first five hotels on the island of Ibiza in the Spanish Balearic Islands in the eastern part of the country with hotels in in Tenerife and Malaga ot follow later.

The Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa in Platja d’en Bossa will reopen on 3rd July, with Agroturismo Sa Talaia open from 8th July and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and Bless Hotel Ibiza from 10th July.

Then on 24th July Amar Beach Hotel Ibiza will start welcoming visitors as well.

However, it is still unclear when the group’s iconic hotel mecca for DJs Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel and nightclub will reopen.

The club is listed by DJ magazine as one of the most iconic nightclubs on the planet and has hosted an array of famous faces over the years.

In Benalmadena, Malaga, Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol will open from 9th July and Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife will be opening its doors from 30th July.

Palladium Hotel Group reportedly announced they plan to reopen more of their establishments based on demand and occupancy, with the summer seasons extended until November.

The group has also launched discounts of up to 20 percent for customers who book on their webpage and they guarantee a flexible changing policy.

It is still unclear whether British tourists will be able to visit Spain by July 1st, however, officials say that they are monitoring the UK’s COVID-19 figures in the meantime.
