Huge Mission Impossible Fan Ties Thread Around Crayfish And Drops It Down To Catch Unreachable Sock

The bizarre clip shows a huge Mission Impossible fan retrieving a sock that had fallen on the overhang with the help of a crayfish.

The astonishing scene captured the man taking the tiny crustacean out of a plastic bag in the city of Liuzhou, in China’s Guangxi Autonomous Region on 10th March.

He can then be seen dropping it down the window of his flat, Mission-Impossible-style, to capture the fallen piece of clothing.

Tied with a thread around its body, the lobster-like freshwater animal can be seen clipping up the sock as soon as it hits the overhand before the man pulls it back up again along with the item.

It was said that the man came up with the inventive solution after the sock fell down as he was collecting his clothes.

The video triggered many reactions after it shared on China’s version of TikTok, Douyin, later that day. It left netizens unable to hold back from commenting.

Douyin user ‘Mu Ziya’ said: “There is a reason why AI cannot replace humans.”

Then user ‘oh. NO’ commented. “This crayfish has made such a great contribution, should we consider steaming it?”

And ‘Sisi’ added: “It has helped you so much, do you still want to eat it?”

The clip has fetched more than 2.1 million likes and over 3.7 million shares as of 14th March.
