The aggressor reportedly managed to flee the hospital and police are searching for him on suspicion of attempted homicide.

The aggressor’s wife reportedly told police that she often went to the doctor who was stabbed to be treated for stomach problems and had also received treatment at the hospital for a tumour in her head.

She said that on the night of the incident she had undergone tests and was waiting for the results. Her husband had then gone to the doctor because of the wait to find out what was happening. She said she did not see the stabbing but saw her husband running away.

The search for the aggressor is ongoing.
