Hijab Model Spends Wedding Night In Hospital As Gas Leak Cuts Short Nuptials After 30 Mins

Egyptian influencer and hijab model Aya Osama who spent years saving and planning for her dream wedding ended up spending in hospital connected to a ventilator due to a gas leak that affected dozens of guests just half an hour into proceedings.

Aya was in tears as he explained how she spent her wedding night receiving oxygen in hospital following her disastrous wedding ceremony in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.

According to Gulf Today, a generator in the hall was running an air conditioning unit, however, gas started leaking and wedding guests were affected by the fumes about half an hour into the ceremony.

The groom and his fashion influencer bride, who also calls herself a ‘hijab model’, were affected by the fumes along with dozens of guests, according to reports.

In one photo, Aya is seen wearing an oxygen mask over her face on a hospital bed while still wearing her flowing white wedding dress.

Aya said on social media that she was shocked to see her struggling wedding guests with tears in their eyes as celebrations quickly turned to chaos.

The influencer also lamented that it took her and her husband eight years to save enough money for the wedding, which was unfortunately cut short just half an hour in.

She said: “Instead of having a wedding night at our marital home, I spent it in a hospital under artificial breathing systems because of the amount of gas I inhaled.”
