This is the moment a bride-to-be is allegedly abducted by her own family just before her wedding because they do not like the groom.
Yulia Borisova was reportedly kidnapped by her relatives on Tverskaya Street in the middle of the Russian capital Moscow right before her wedding ceremony on 10th August.
The video shows family members apparently pushing the bride-to-be into a car.

According to reports, she was abducted by her parents, grandmother, and an uncle.
Yulia’s grandmother said she will not let her granddaughter marry a drug addict, referring to the groom Victor Danilov, 31.
After the incident, Danilov, who was running a little late for the ceremony, filed a complaint with the police.

In the statement, Danilov asked officers to make sure his fiancee was well and not being held against her will.
According to the news site Moslenta, the groom’s grandfather said that just minutes before the incident, he spoke with the suspected kidnappers at the registry office.
He added that he does not understand the reasons for their actions and apparent hatred towards the groom.

The man explained that he only ever met the bride once before and did not immediately recognise her when he witnessed the abduction.
Danilov is studying at the Institute of Contemporary Arts with Yulia.
According to the groom, he used to be on good terms with Yulia’s parents, however, shortly before the wedding, their attitude towards him suddenly changed.

During the alleged abduction, an unknown person reportedly attacked the groom and threw potassium permanganate over him.
The local authorities have confirmed that they are investigating the circumstances behind Yulia’s disappearance.
