HAPPY HORRORDAY: Halloween Fans Pack Theme Park For Ghoulish Show

This is the new Halloween spook-tacular that is sending chills down the spines of visitors to Universal Studios theme park in Florida, USA.

Footage from the eerily realistic Halloween Horror Nights shows how fans of the spooky season are immersing themselves in the freaky fun.

The footage – shot by park regular Harry Kleedorfer – shows creepy skeletons growing out of bushes and zombies lumbering around visitors.

Particularly creepy is a park version of the scary Grady Twins from the 1980s horror movie The Shining.

Fan Harry told Newsflash: “Halloween Horror Nights is an annual event at Universal Studios Florida.

“Its first year was 1991 and was called Fright Nights. The name changed to Halloween Horror Nights in 1992.

“It started out with only a few nights per year and was very small. The popularity has grown so much that it’s now spread over 2 months and over 40 nights.

“It’s the nation’s premier Halloween event.”

The 41-year-old Halloween fan told Newsflash he has a passion for horror and haunted things and even owns the Freaks of Halloween Horror Nights outlet.

Footage filmed by Harry at this year’s event shows how props and decorations and special effects create a spooky feeling.

An eigh-foot-tall skeleton resembling the Grim reaper can be seen loping along between the visitors.

Harry said: “The tall skeleton is a character in ‘the Graveyard: Deadly Unrest’ scarezone. He is walking on stilts.”

He added: “Universal Studios puts a lot into this event to bring the guests everything they can imagine and more.

“Universal brings some of the biggest horror films to life and combines it with their original house ideas to give us that amazing event

“I was hooked the first time I went and will never miss a year no matter what.”
