This is the heartwarming moment a cute dog wags its tail in joy as it is reunited with its emotional owner after being rescued from a manhole following 10 days apart.

The black Labrador had reportedly been in the manhole for two days in the capital city of Belgrade in Serbia and was missing for 10 days in total.

The dog’s female owner had put up ‘missing’ posters and the poor pooch was found stuck down the manhole.

A rescue team from Animal Rescue Serbia was called and in the video one of the team can be seen climbing down into the manhole.

The rescuer manages to wrap a harness around and Labrador and his colleagues help lift it up out of the hole.

The pooch sits on the ground as the rescuers comfort it and the next clip shows the dog being reunited with its owner.

The female owner is visibly emotional as she is reunited with her beloved pet and the Labrador can be seen wagging its tail.

The owner reportedly said that the dog had become very skinny but they expect it to recover well.

Animal Rescue Serbia told Central European News (CEN): “The dog is now well and is with its owner.”

It is not clear whether the animal suffered any injuries.

Netizen ‘Sasa’ commented: “It’s amazing that he has been found and rescued!”

While ‘Dejana Jovanovic Popovic’ added: “Congratulations.”
