Ghanaian Man Kills Best Friend After Dreaming He Slept With His Partner

A jealous Ghanaian man has allegedly stabbed his best friend to death after dreaming about him sleeping with his partner.

The following day, the suspect then reportedly killed his own grandfather and another elderly man, claiming they made him impotent by “virtually stealing his manhood”.

Kwadwo Adusei, who is reportedly in his 40s, has been accused of stabbing his best friend Kwasi Banahene, 47, to death on 8th October before fatally stabbing his grandfather, Kwabena Nkrumah, 84, and Kwame Kwakye, 86, the following day, 9th October.

The attacks occurred in the farming community of Wawase located in the southern Ghanaian region of Ashanti.

The local news site Atinkanews reported that Adusei told cops after being arrested: “I lured my friend into the bush and unknown to him, I stabbed him from the back. He fell down and I repeated it till he gave up his ghost.”

When asked why he killed his grandfather and Kwakye, he said that the pair had “virtually stolen my manhood” leaving him impotent and unable to progress with his life.

Andrews Mensah, Assemblyman for the local area, told the news site Joy Online: “Why would you say someone has seized your manhood when you have produced six kids?

“I wouldn’t say he is mentally unsound in his current state; he is not. Everyone is shocked. We are all living in a state of fear.”

Ransford Darko, Kwame Kwakye’ son, told Joy Online: “My father was attacked without any provocation. I couldn’t imagine the pain he went through. He was bleeding profusely from machete wounds in the neck, cheek and hands.”

“I couldn’t talk to him. All I wanted was to see my father survive the attack, but he couldn’t.”

Kwakye’s wife Comfort Akwaboah and daughter Cecilia Benyade were saved by locals who took them to safety before the suspect could find them.

Adusei allegedly chased after them with a machete before the cops arrested him.

The suspect is expected to appear in front of a judge at Mamponteng District Court on 8th November on murder charges.
