FUR TREE: Trapped Puss Saved After 36 Hours Up Tree

This is the moment animal lovers gather together to save a cat trapped at the top of 30ft tree for 36 hours.

Locals in Yingkou Gorge, Liaoning Province, central China, say the cat had shot up the tree while it was being chased by dogs.

But after the pooches gave up, the cat seemed to be stuck fast and unable to get down.

So neighbours gathered to encourage it down using a long bamboo pole and a blanket to catch it in.

A video of the rescue – shared on Doyin, the Chinese version of TikTok – shows the stubborn puss resisting the rescue until one of the locals starts to shake the branches.

As it loses its grip, the cat tumbles safely into the stretched-out blanket below before running off, apparently unharmed.

User ‘come naturally’ commented: “The cat said to itself: I will go up the tree to play for a while, these people are really annoying and keep poking at me.”

While ‘Shengzhu’ said: “I’ve seen a dog that fell into the water, but I haven’t heard of a cat that can’t climb down a tree.”
