This is the moment Italian firefighters rescue a woman from a tree after she went paragliding in Slovenia, lost control, and ended up crossing the border into Italy.
The woman, name not disclosed, was left dangling two metres from the ground in San Dorligo della Valle in the Italian province of Trieste after setting off from the area of San Servolo Castle in Slovenia, close to the border between the two countries, on 14th July.
The female paraglider was unable to free herself from the tree and was left hanging until the emergency services arrived on the scene.

A firefighting team from the town of Muggia arrived at the location and rescued the paraglider with the help of an aerial ladder.
According to the fire brigade, the woman did not suffer any injuries and, other than being shaken by the incident, was feeling well.
Firefighters were also able to recover the woman’s tangled paraglider with the help of the aerial ladder.
