This fast-track footage shows the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) in fast motion conducting flight operations in the Adriatic Sea.

It was the last of the 10 Nimitz-class supercarriers of the United States Navy to be built and is named after the 41st President of the US in respect of his position as a naval aviator during World War II.

The call sign of the carrier is ‘Avenger’, which is a reference to the TBM avenger aircraft that Bush flew during World War II.
