This is the moment a huge explosion at a roast duck shop in China blasts the backside off the trousers of a passerby.

The shop blast took place in the city of Yulin in the Chinese province of Guangxi on 17th February.

According to local reports, a small fire started in the roast duck shop before midday, causing the explosion.

The flames also spread to neighbouring shops as the fire brigade arrived on the scene to contain the blaze.

In the footage, a huge fireball is seen bellowing from the shop entrance as dozens of people are gathered outside.

The flames apparently torch a parked cop car as the crowd flees and one man apparently has his trousers blasted to shreds.

The man is seen ruffling his hair and patting the burning sensation coming from his apparently exposed buttocks.

Other videos show the flames spreading to nearby shops, firefighters tackling the blaze, and victims being treated at a local health centre for their burn injuries.

Firefighters arrived at the row of shops at around midday and quickly contained the flames.

Reports said one police officer and two members of the public suffered minor burn injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
