This is the funny moment two peckish horses enter a convenience store and munch on the sweets on the counter as the cashier tries desperately to shoo them away.

Florencia, who works at the shop in the neighbourhood of Carrara de Horizonte in the city of Cordoba in the Argentine region of the same name, complained that the animals “didn’t pay for what they ate”.

She also admitted she “almost had a heart attack” when the hungry horses raided the shop earlier this week.

In the footage, a horse walks into the shop and approaches the counter as Florencia tries to shoo it away.

The horse takes an interest in some confectionery products at the counter and manages to knock off a box of treats before munching on them.

Meanwhile, the worker apparently calls her boss and explains: “Pablo, there’s a horse in the shop and I can’t get it out!”

At that point, another horse walks in and the panicked worker says: “Another one has come in, they are wrecking everything, Pablo!”

Local media pointed out that one horse had the remnants of rope tied around its neck, while they both appeared skinny with their ribs clearly on show.

Florencia later said that she made the horses leave the shop by spraying them with a low-alcohol spray product.

She also complained that the horses “didn’t pay for what they ate”, adding that she “almost had a heart attack”.

It is unclear what happened to the animals after being sprayed out of the shop.
