Esports Gamer Buys Ford Mustang GT500 With Prize Money

A 27-year-old gamer has wowed his pals by walking into a car showroom in a pair of flip-flops and buying a spanking new Ford Mustang GT500 with money earned from Esports competitions.

Malaysian Esports gamer Faris Zakaria, also known as ‘Soloz’, regularly takes part in mobile gaming competitions as well as streaming his PUBG and Mobile Legends game-plays on the internet, according to local media.

The 27-year-old Esports expert has reportedly done very well through gaming and even boasts 255,000 followers on Instagram.

Zakaria also won bronze at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games competition in the Philippines in the ‘Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’ category with the team Bosskurr.

He recently shared photos of his fancy new Ford Mustang GT500 on Instagram for his army of online fans.

According to local media, Zakaria strutted into a car showroom in the city of Bangsar near the western Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur in a pair of flip-flops to buy the cherry-red car.

He first visited the showroom at the end of January to peruse their line of cars, before returning a week later with the money he earned from being an Esports gamer and bought the Mustang outright, according to local media.
