This is the moment a motorist pulls out in front of a car and sends it flying through the air before landing on its roof on the other side of the road.

The accident was filmed by CCTV cameras in the district of Adapazari in the north-western Turkish province of Sakarya and posted on YouTube.

In the footage, a grey car is seen parked behind a dustcart while a sanitation worker appears to speak with the driver.

Apparently without checking his mirrors, the driver of the grey car pulls out in front of an onrushing white vehicle and sends it flying through the air.

The white car lands on its roof on the other side of the road and skids along as sanitation workers run over to help the driver.

Another angle shows the crashed vehicle coming to a stop on the pavement and smoke starts to bellow as waste collectors rush to get the occupants out.

At the end of the clip, a man is helped out as rescuers appear to comfort an occupant in the other seat.

According to reports, two passengers were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The police arrived on the scene and opened an investigation which is currently ongoing.
