Diminutive musician Grand P has posted a touching video message to his ex-lover and plus-size model Eudoxie Yao after she announced she ended the relationship.

The voluptuous Ivorian – sometimes dubbed the ‘African Kim Kardashian’ – announced that she was single again on Instagram, where she boasts 1.6 million followers, over the weekend.

She posted a snap of her wearing blue contact lenses and a low-cut black top with the message: “My baby I’m officially single but not a heart to take. I will focus on my music. Good weekend to you.”

According to reports, she ended the relationship because her ex-boyfriend, the singer, actor and social media personality Grand P, cheated on her.

Grand P has the rare genetic condition progeria, which causes rapid ageing.

In response to apparently being dumped by his plus-size lover, the diminutive musician posted a response on Instagram for his 347,000 followers.

He accompanied a clip of him talking to the camera in front of a keyboard with the message (written in French): “My love #EDO, for me you are the most beautiful thing in this world.

“On my heart, I will write your name, so I’ll think of you forever. My true happiness is to be with you. You are the love of my life. The sun is for everyone, but you are my sun alone. You and I until the station.”

The celebrity couple were constantly plagued with accusations by netizens that they were only together for publicity during their relationship.

At the end of June, the couple was filmed dancing together in a nightclub. Eudoxie captioned the clip: “So much love. Wow; my ‘husband’, Grand P, loves me so much. Look at when I was on stage with him; it’s so emotional.”
