As the group fled the scene, two of them got on a motorbike and were pursued by the cops.
Reports said that they crashed into another motorcycle and were knocked off the bike in the accident.
In the CCTV footage, a motorbike is seen crashing onto the pavement as a young woman looks on in shock.
A man in a black cap then runs into view and waits on the pavement as the other biker is seen getting to his feet.
A traffic cop in black walks round to the biker by the crashed motorcycle as an officer in a light-coloured uniform appears.
The officer seems to point a gun at the first man’s head before making him sit on the kerb and whacking him in the face.
The officer then kicks him in the head and walks over to the other suspect with his gun raised.
The clip ends with the official kicking the suspect hard in the head.
According to local media, the traffic police division has confirmed that they are aware of the video and an investigation is underway.
The officer accused of brutality has been identified by the authorities, but his name has not been made public.
