COOL JOB: Hockey Field Worker Reveals Ice Upkeep In Stadium In Viral TikTok Video

A hockey field worker recently went viral after sharing some behind-the-scenes footage of how the field gets prepared for the gaming season and how the ice is removed when the season ends.

Newsflash obtained the images from Tyler Hoskins, who works as the operations manager at the Knoxville Coliseum in Knoxville, in the US state of Tennessee.

Tyler said: “They’re compilations filmed throughout the season. So roughly October-April.”

In the first piece of footage, which went viral on TikTok with over 20 million views and over 900,000 likes, Tyler showed how the ice from the hockey field gets broken up and cleared with the help of an excavator.

Workers also use shovels to manually smash up the one-inch ice before it gets loaded onto a truck and removed.
