A man hit his porn-star lover on the head with a hammer and then slit her throat after having tied her up on the pretext of shooting a kinky video.

Davide Fontana, 43, is on trial in Busto Arsizio, Italy, for the murder of 26-year-old Carol Maltesi in January and the desecration and concealment of her corpse – which he cut up and hidden in a freezer.

He has admitted to carrying out the grizzly killing at her home in Rescaldina but is claiming he does not know why he did it.

Fontana told the court how he and the mum of one had been filming a kinky video he had requested with her hands bound, her mouth taped shut, and a bag over her head.

He made the shocking admission: “While we were shooting the video, I hit her on the head several times with the hammer.

“She seemed dead to me, but then I thought I saw her leg moving, so I went down to get a knife, a Japanese model, and I cut her throat to take away her suffering.”

He added: “I started dissecting her body a few days later, after buying a hacksaw at Brico.”

Fontana carved up Carol’s body over three to four days before stashing her remains in a freezer he had bought on Amazon.

He later disposed of them in an isolated area in Breno, where they were subsequently found by a farmer.

It was earlier reported that Fontana and Carol were neighbours and had been having a fling for a few months.

Police believed at the time that he killed her after she told him she wanted to move away to be closer to her son, who is from a previous relationship.

But Fontana is still denying that his act was planned in advance. He told the court: “I don’t know why I did it. I wanted to commit suicide. I didn’t premeditate anything.”

He added: “I would give my life to undo what I did.”

Carol was active on OnlyFans and had made pornography under the pseudonym Charlotte Angie. She was half-Dutch and had given birth to her son in 2016.

The trial is ongoing.
