Chapos Cartels Show Of Strength With Armoured Convoy

This is the moment a convoy of armoured cars reportedly belonging to El Chapo’s cartel brazenly roll into a Mexican town in a show of strength.

The scenes were recorded in the municipality of Allende in the state of Guanajuato in central Mexico as the Sinaloa Cartel were reportedly showing their strength after forming an alliance with a local gang.

In the video, several armoured cars can be seen rolling into the town in a convoy. An all-black armoured van is among the squadron along with pickup trucks complete with sirens.

Local media report around 200 men belonging to the Sinaloa Cartel arrived in the municipality after they formed an alliance with ‘El Cartel de Santa Rosa de Lima’ (CSRL), who are said to have control in the area.

The Sinaloa Cartel are said to have joined the CSRL, allegedly led by Jose Antonio Yepez, alias ‘El Marro’, to stop the advance of their rival Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) in the area.

The CSRL are suspected of fuel robbery, extortion and drug trafficking and currently fighting with the CJNG for control of the state of Guanajuato.

Reports claim the Cartel del Golfo (CDG) are also funding the CSRL in the fight again the CJNG.
