Carrefour Employees Sing During Quarantine In Spain

This is the moment the staff in a Carrefour supermarket break out in song and dance in a bid to lift spirits of colleagues working to keep their stores open in Spain.

The video which has been widely shared on social media was recorded in a Carrefour market in Spain, although it is unclear in which city.

The footage shows the staff of a Carrefour market dancing in the corridors of the establishment to the popular Spanish song ‘Resistire’ (I will resist) by the band ‘El Duo Dinamico’.

Twitter user Borja Casado shared the clip along with the message: “This is a Carrefour supermarket before opening. Cheers for the people!”

The video has already been viewed 30,600 times since it was first shared online.

Netizen ‘Liberto38389926’ said: “To those Carrefour, employees thank you very much for helping as you do, I wish you the best”

Twitter user ‘juanantperea’ wrote: “I think it is great if the intention is cheering up folks. Any initiative that adds something is positive.”

Other supermarkets have reportedly followed the initiative to keep spirits high while Spain is under quarantine amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

The measures have been in place since last Saturday when the national government declared the state of alert.
