This is the shocking moment a woman driver suddenly changes lanes into the path of a lorry which flips her vehicle sideways and pushes it along the busy motorway as her two kids scream in shock.

The incident took place on a motorway near the city of Zhengzhou in the Chinese province of Henan on 21st November.

In a statement by the Henan Highway Public Security division, the accident happened when the “car changed lanes without the driver paying attention and ended up being pushed over 100 metres along the road”.

The lorry driver, identified by his surname Wu, said he did not see the vehicle when it pulled into his lane under his line of sight.

The video footage shows the moment the lorry flips the woman’s car sideways and pushes it along the motorway as one child screams.

The lorry driver said: “I suddenly heard a noise, and could feel that the lorry was sluggish. At first I thought there was a problem with the brakes, and decided to put on the hazard lights and pullover on the hard shoulder.

“When I got out of the cab I saw the car across the lorry’s front bumper. I hadn’t noticed it before.”

The lorry driver and the car occupants were unharmed in the incident, but the mother’s car was badly damaged.

Police said the woman driver was to blame because she suddenly decided to change lanes right in front of the blindsighted lorry driver.
