The slaying took place in the sawmill where accused Rogerio Martins de Araujo worked in Diadema, Brazil, on 4th February.

Tragic Camilla Figueiredo, 29, had gone there to take her son to see his dad.

According to reports, De Araujo, 41, took his son into the office before grabbing a work tool similar to a machete and striking Camilla.

Then he went to a bar and had some drinks before turning himself in at a police station and confessing to the crime.

Police went to the workplace and found Camilla – who, according to her family, was four months pregnant – dead with stab wounds.

Chillingly, De Araujo told police he committed the crime because she had been made pregnant by another man.

Camilla had left De Araujo six months ago because of constant fights and rows.

Friends and family described De Araujo as jealous and said he kept Camilla away from her pals.

One of Camilla’s sisters has been granted provisional custody of her young son.
