BODY OF EVIDENCE: Iranian Bodybuilding Athlete And Asian Champion Found Dead In His House

A bodybuilding champion who had won the Asian Championship has been killed in his home according to police.

The body of the 28-year-old Omid Hatami, a bodybuilding champion and sports coach, has been found in his home in the absorbed city of Tehranpars in the Greater Tehran Area in Iran.

He had won several championships, including the Asian Championship.

The police found the dead body of the bodybuilder lying in his bed in the home he had rented a year ago.

The victim’s brother, whose name has not been disclosed, told police: “Every time I called him, he did not answer. I got worried and went to his house. He lived and worked here.

“My brother gave me sports advice. Because no one opened the door when I went to his house, I was sure something bad happened to him. I took the key maker and when I opened the door I came across his body.”

The police investigation showed that the victim had suffered a fatal hit in the head by a heavy object.

The police found traces of blood near the entrance and they suspect that the victim wanted to leave the house, but for some reason had then decided to lie down in the bed, possibly not realising how badly hurt he was.

The police consider it is possible that the perpetrator is a person he knew because of the fact that no items had been stolen, and that the front door had been found locked.
