BLOOMING CHEEK: Crook Robbed Florist To Get Rose For His Last Victim

This is the bizarre moment a convicted Russian armed robber carries out a terrifying raid on a flower shop where he stole a rose to give a victim of one of his earlier robberies.

The unnamed 35-year-old man claimed he had taken a shine to the victim of the earlier robbery carried out a month before and wanted to give her a rose to say sorry.

However, as he did not have any money, he decided to rob the flower shop which is located in the Russian city of Orenburg on the Ural River.

The video shows the man threatening the woman sales assistant, not named but age 34, and a colleague with a bottle so that they could hand over the takings of 5000 rubles, and then the rose

When he was later arrested after the footage allowed him to be identified, he said he had carried out the robbery because he wanted the steel arose to give the victim of his earlier robbery.

Police did not give any details of the woman he robbed or the business that she worked in.

They did reveal, however, that the man had already been arrested for earlier robberies and given house arrest and is now in custody awaiting trial for the new offences.
