This is the shocking moment a man grabs his partner’s young daughter violently by the hair and then kicks her against a wall.
The moment was captured on CCTV in the stairwell of a residential building in the city of Ufa in the Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia.
The man is seen committing the act of violence in front of the girl’s mother, who is seen holding a younger child in her arms and is unable to stop him although does try.
She tries her best to protect her daughter using her body, but the man grabs the youngster violently by the hair before kicking her in the back, causing her to fall and hit the corner of a wall.
According to news site Lenta, the man had also earlier attacked the younger boy seen in his mother’s arms.
News site Life reports that the same man had also tried to hit an unidentified boy, but he managed to escape.
It was when the boy’s relatives tried to ascertain the man’s identity from CCTV cameras that the violent footage showing him beating his partner’s daughter was found.
It is unclear if he is the biological father of the children who appear in the footage.
His identity has not been divulged, though he appears to be young and was seen wearing a vest top, gym shorts and flip flops and sporting a shortly cropped hairstyle at the time of the attack.
The local authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
