Bikers In Mass Crash As Stunt Goes Wrong

This is the terrifying moment six globe of death riders crash during a motorcycle stunt at a circus in Brazil.

Horrifying audience phone footage of the performance shows the bikes come crashing down on top of each other after two bikers apparently misjudged the stunt on 9th March.

Once clip begins as the motorcyclists ride into the tony-caged globe and begin revving their engines at the show in Balneario Camboriu, Santa Catarina State.

As they begin their gravity-defying stunt, they ride around and up a down the globe just inches from each other.

But then two collide and start a chain reaction that leaves all the machines and their riders in a crumpled heap at the bottom as the crowd screams in horror.

Another clip shows circus staff rushing to the rescue as they pull the bikes from on top of the riders who slowly limp out to a huge round of applause at the footage ends.

Astonishingly, say circus bosses, none of the riders were seriously injured.

Audience member Wal Andrades said after the show: “It’s a magical spectacle and, thank God, nothing more serious happened.”

Circus bosses said in a note to local media: “Mirage Circus informs the public and the press that, last night, during one of our acclaimed Globe of Death presentations, an unforeseen event occurred with our brave motorcyclists.

“We want to assure everyone that, fortunately, those involved are fine and only suffered minor scratches from the fall.

“They undergo rigorous and ongoing training, and the motorcycles used in the number undergo meticulous maintenance to ensure the highest standard of safety.
