YOU SILLY STUNT: Free Runner Crashes Into Roof In Fall Fail

This is the moment a free runner leaps across a gap, slams into the side of a roof, and then falls to the ground with a sickening thud.

Parkour enthusiast Leonardo Peuble, 24, thankfully survived the painful-looking plunge in Paris, France.

He posted the video of his failed stunt on Instagram for his 11,400 followers earlier this month (December).

He wrote sarcastically: “Very enjoyable.”

The clip, which had been viewed more than nine million times at the time of writing, shows Leonardo taking a long run-up along the roof of what looks like a covered market.

He can then be seen launching himself into the air to cross a wide gap.

However, instead of landing on his feet on the other side, he slams into the side of the structure with his body.

He then somersaults backwards through the air as he plunges straight through a tree and onto the ground below howling in pain.

Leonardo, who is from the French Caribbean island of Martinique, told Newsflash in an interview: “I work in performing shows, mostly acrobatics.

“The clips were filmed with my equipment and the fall did not cause any injuries, just a few scratches.

“I started parkour playing cat and mouse in a park. I had a lot of muscle and tendon injuries but never fractures.

“I do dangerous or impressive stunts because I’m good at it.

“I have been practising this sport for nine years and I am very thoughtful but actually a mistake at this level is very dangerous.”
