This beautiful Romanian entrepreneur has died of a heart attack aged 33 following a short illness.
Mihaela Galani, who owned the shop Gemelli Shoes in the Romanian city of Constanta, was reportedly found unconscious in her car before being taken to the County Clinical Emergency Hospital of Constanta where she went into cardiac arrest.
Doctors tried in vain to save the entrepreneur’s life. However, her heart gave way and she died aged 33 last week.
She had been feeling ill for several days leading up to her collapse, according to Observator News.
A Gemelli Shoes spokesperson said: “The engine of the Gemelli team has passed away. Things will be very hard in the coming period. We do not yet know when we will reopen.”
Mihaela ran the shop, selling quality handmade shoes, with her sister Loredana Romanov.
At the moment, Gemelli products are available in the cities of Constanta, Braila, Sibiu, Cluj and Oradea.
Flower bouquets and candles were placed on the steps in front of Mihaela’s shop in Constanta following news of her untimely passing.
Tragedy hit the family 10 years ago when Mihaela’s twin brother died suddenly from an infection.
According to local reports, Mihaela graduated from university with a master’s degree in Interculturalism, Communication and European Studies.
It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the cause of the young woman’s collapse and subsequent heart attack.
