This beautiful influencer aged 21 with nearly half a million followers has reportedly killed herself after becoming the victim of online bullying when an army of haters filled her Instagram with hateful messages.

The tragedy took place in the Serbian capital Belgrade when the popular influencer, named as Kristina Kika Dukic, reportedly took her life on the evening from 8th December.

Dukic’s lifeless body was found by the police at about 11:40 PM in a flat in Belgrade, with no traces of foul play. The Ministry of the Interior of Serbia has stated that the investigation is currently ongoing.

The death was reportedly first made public online by the influencer’s mother, who has been named in local media reports as Natasa Djukic, no age mentioned.

The popular influencer had reportedly been battling bullying on social media for the last few years.

In one of the videos that she posted online, she explained that whatever she did, it was never good enough. She tried to explain to critics that it was important to be happy and to do what one wanted in life and she described the bullying that she had been subjected to for years.

One of her critics was Bogdan Ilic, aka Baka Prase, who has over a million followers on Instagram and who went through her videos and criticised them after deciding she was a fake, according to local media outlet Republika.

The newspaper reports that with his large following, things quickly got out of hand and his supporters bombarded the comment section of Dukic’s Instagram with hateful comments such as “kill yourself”.

But Baka Prase has apparently attempted to distance himself from the drama, claiming that the truth will come out one day and saying they had become friends before her death.

According to local media outlet Direktno, he claimed: “I was among the first to find out about this event because her friends called me and told me that they would publicly support me with the truth about the whole event, but I refused because I do not want to be a victim.

“I’m sorry about what happened. I’m sorry I didn’t announce that we reconciled and became friends. I’m sorry because people don’t know the reason and point the finger. They do not give the dead peace and respect, just to get a few likes, to fulfill their desire for revenge and in the ugliest possible way.

“I will not be the one to publish the reason and manner of what she did, which they told me about last night, so that I could try to ‘wash’ my name out of respect for her. If that’s the reason someone hates me, that’s fine with me.”

A close associate of the influencer, named as Mira Vladisavljevic, tearfully told local media outlet Telegraf: “Terrible. A terrible thing happened last night. I appeal to all the media to carefully report on this case and on the girl who struggled with bullying for five years. Please understand.”

Dukic captioned the last photo that she posted online, about a month ago, with the following line: “She said, ‘Where we goin’?’ I said, ‘The moon’.”
