A bar and nightclub has been accused of “insulting women” after it made customers walk through this giant female blow-up doll’s legs and vagina to reach its entrance.

GT Bar in the county of Ningdu, which is Ganzhou in East China’s Jiangxi Province, set up the inflatable prop on 11th November and was asked to take it down just two days later.

Images of the nightclub show its entrance decorated with the inflatable lower limbs of a woman’s body, specifically an unclothed pair of open legs wearing red high heels.

Visitors were asked to walk through the blow-up doll’s genitalia to access the bar, reportedly leaving female members of the public feeling “insulted”.

The custom-made prop was part of a Singles’ Day-themed event, but local government officials ordered it removed on 13th November.

In a statement, the county culture bureau said the bar was ordered to destroy the blow-up doll and pay a fine of 4,500 RMB (500 GBP) for the stunt.

The business has also been ordered to “make improvements”, but the statement did not provide further details.

GT Bar released its own statement later the same day, apologising for “unintentionally offending” women.
