Russian porn star ‘Luxury Girl’ has revealed that she likes to go fishing to relieve the stress of online stardom and gawping men.
Gorgeous adult actress and model Polina, 28, who comes from the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, is one of the most viewed porn stars on PornHub and she also boasts millions of online followers, including 350,000 on Instagram.
She told local media outlet Paper that she began filming adult scenes with her boyfriend four years ago, and he remains the only male adult actor she has appeared onscreen with.
Polina, better known online as ‘Luxury Girl’, said: “It all started quite simply around the end of 2017, beginning of 2018. My boyfriend and I spent a romantic evening together. We talked about YouTube, and then asked ‘is there a similar platform for porn?’ At that point, we didn’t know that PornHub existed. We started looking on the Internet and realised it was there. We were interested. We read how it works and decided ‘why not?’
“The decision was also coupled with some financial difficulties during that period of our lives, but I do not want to talk about that in detail. We weighed up all the pros and cons, since they are not small and we weren’t born yesterday. After discussing it, we came to the conclusion that this would not be a problem for us, even if our relatives are against it.”
She said they posted their first video on PornHub and within three weeks, it went viral and was the most viewed clip in Russia, Europe and America.
Polina said: “Past friends began writing to me, even people from school. Then they wrote to my boyfriend on social media saying ‘do you know what your girlfriend does?’ He said he knew and explained that we were doing this together.
“Ultimately, the main reason why we started doing this was to make money. Many people try to romanticise this activity, justify it by saying they want to engage in creativity. But in fact, everyone goes into this industry to make money.”
When asked when she first realised she was becoming famous, ‘Luxury Girl’ said: “About a year ago when a friend came to see me. We drank wine, watched Eurovision, and then decided to go to a club in a residential area. There, I realised that I needed a security guard for such places. There was no negativity, but people just constantly came up to me, shook my hand, and all the girls took pictures of their guys with me.
“Once I was buying perfume in a duty-free shop in Dubai, and one salesman starts shouting to another across the whole store ‘that’s Luxury Girl!’ and then he turns to a woman in a burka and begins to explain who I am.”
When it comes to life outside of porn, Polina said: “My main outlet is fishing. My boyfriend and I have a boat and we go fishing in different cities in Russia and Europe in the summer. This year we took part in the ‘Oksky Trophy’ fishing tournament and finished in fourth place out of 45 teams. The men who took part in this event, of course, freaked out and did not understand why I was there.”
When asked if she helps newcomers enter the world of porn, Polina said: “We do not do this, I only work with those who already have a name in porn. We do not get involved with anyone who has never been associated with the industry before.
“When a girl comes to me and says that she wants to do porn, I tell her that if there is an opportunity to choose a different path, it is better to choose it. Not everyone is able to cope with the hate that can come their way, with popularity, with negativity from friends and relatives. All situations are different, and if everything has gone smoothly for me, this does not mean that everyone will be the same.”
“Working in this field made it possible to correct some shortcomings. I had a boob job, as mine were not very big. I also improved my physique. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, because if there is a possibility, why not? After all, not everything can be fixed in the gym.
“I would like to clarify about the plastic surgery. I did the operation for myself, and not because my audience would appreciate it.”
When asked if porn objectifies women, Polina replied: “I don’t really agree with that, to be honest. First, many actresses go into this area by choice, no one forces them to act in porn. Secondly, men also appear in adult films. Why, in this case, do we not say that we are objectifying sexy men? This is somehow unfair.”
She added: “I have never filmed and do not plan to shoot videos with anyone other than my partner. True, there were a couple of videos with my friend, also a famous model, Solazola, but these are isolated cases.
“We are not ready to do this with other partners, we are not interested.
“I am 28 years old. I give myself two more years making adult films. After I hit 30, I want to go into producing, directing and completely move over to YouTube because I have something to say.”
