This is the moment an adorable young girl who has fallen 30 feet into a deep well finally sees rescuers on the surface and cries out “Mr Fireman, you’ve come to save me!”
The four-year-old, who has not been named, accidentally stumbled down the uncovered well while picking mulberries in her native town of Xinglong, which is in Kaifeng in Central China’s Henan Province, on 19th May.
In footage of her ordeal, the girl can be seen standing in a puddle of water at the bottom of the 30-foot well, which has an opening just 15 inches wide.

Her mum can be heard repeatedly telling her to grab hold of one of the rescue ropes, which includes an improvised metal loop that can fit around her right arm.
The parent does her best to calm the girl, who at one point looks up from the well and appears to spot the crowd of uniformed rescuers looking down at her.
She says through tears: “Mr Firemen, you’ve come to save me!”
The video shows the girl being pulled back up to the surface shortly after, with the firemen then returning her to her mother’s grateful arms.
The child was treated with oxygen and taken to hospital for a comprehensive check-up.
She is not understood to have suffered any serious injuries.
