This is the moment a randy bull leaves his pals in a herd to get fruity and mounts a plastic cow in a children’s park.

The incident was filmed in the city of Yuzhno Kurilsk in the far-eastern Russian region of Sakhalin Oblast and was later shared on social media with the message “tragic love”.

In the footage, a black and white bull is seen mounting a model cow in a children’s park as the cameraman laughs hysterically.

According to local media, a herd was passing through the area when a bull made a beeline for the plastic model.

While the bull ‘pumped’ the model cow, the farmer reportedly waited patiently with the rest of the herd.

After the incident appeared on social media, the local authorities contacted the farmer on WhatsApp to ask that he takes better care of his animals, according to reports.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Agriculture told local media: “What we see in the video is completely normal for these kinds of animals. It is a basic animal instinct. They don’t have mating seasons so they do it whenever the need takes them.”

Reports said the plastic cow was first erected on a city square in front of the Town Hall two years ago and quickly became a popular landmark.

After tourists and residents repeatedly took humorous snaps with the plastic cow, it was decided to relocate it and replace the model with a statue of a butterfly, according to local media.
