This is the moment when a motorcyclist in eastern China is run down by a real-life road hog.

The biker – from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province – was knocked to the tarmac when a wild boar ran across the mountain road straight into him.

Luckily, the biker’s crash helmet and the fact that he was doing just 30mph saved his bacon.

Video footage of the bruising encounter was shot on 7th January on the dashcam of the biker, named in local media as Mr Li.

The footage shows just a flurry of hairy flesh as the boar leaps across the bike and crashes to the ground.

A second video shows Li’s prized bike battered and dented from the encounter.

Afterwards, Li shared the video on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Netizens pointed out it was fortunate he was going slowly, which prevented a bigger disaster.
