Miss Indonesia Mum Claims Family Friend Stole Her Away By Posing As Her Real Mother

The mother of gorgeous Miss Indonesia 2019 winner Frederika Cull has claimed that an old family friend has stolen her away by claiming to be her real mum.

Despite last posting on Instagram on 5th November, the police in the Indonesian capital Jakarta have opened an investigation to establish Frederika’s whereabouts after she reportedly last spoke to her mum two months ago.

Yulia Peers, mother of the 22-year-old Miss Indonesia 2019 winner, was reportedly summoned to the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on 15th November to provide a statement on the matter.

Yulia, who lived with her daughter, said she had an argument with her in September and has not heard from her since.

She said: “In September, she went to Bali for a two-week shoot. She said farewell to me, and we wanted to communicate during her holiday. There was a slight misunderstanding. It was just a mother-daughter row, nothing major.”

Yulia claimed that her friend, only identified by her initial N., told Frederika that she is her biological mother in a letter and convinced the model to leave their family home.

She added: “There was a drastic change in Fred (after the letter). Total change. My instinct told me something was wrong.

“I heard from someone that she is now in Jakarta.”

Yulia said she confronted her friend about the letter, but did not get “a polite response from her”, claiming that she is “trying to control Fred”.

She added: “She (her friend) said ‘she is my daughter’. Imagine someone else claiming your child. When my daughter left, her attitude had changed.”

Yulia reported her friend to the police earlier this month.

According to Yulia’s lawyer Ery Kertanegara, the police questioned her about her relationship with the model and even looked into their bloodline.
