3 Hurt As Bus Swerves Off Wet Road And Crashes Into Shed

This is the moment a bus driver loses control along a bend on a wet road and ploughs into a storage shed putting three in hospital.

The accident took place in the district of Pendik in the north-western Turkish city of Istanbul when the full bus was travelling at around 9.30am in wet conditions.

According to local media, the unnamed bus driver lost control at the wheel and crashed into prefab on a company’s premises next to the sharp bend.

Residents who witnessed the accident called the emergency services and paramedics treated the injured on the scene.

Despite being full at the time, only three bus passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for further treatment, according to reports.

There have been no further updates on the injured passengers’ condition.

Meanwhile, police cordoned off the area and took statements from eyewitnesses. The investigation is ongoing.

In the CCTV footage, several vehicles are seen taking the sharp bend in wet conditions as the bus enters the frame.

The bus fails to follow the road and mounts the pavement at speed before crashing into a prefabricated structure and coming to a stop on top of it.
