This is the shocking moment an angry mum beats up her teenage daughter’s classmate in front of hordes of kids and other parents, with many of them calmly filming the punch up.

The incident took place in front of the high school in the city of Pachuca in the central Mexican state of Hidalgo when the mother, whose name has not been disclosed, attacked the teenage girl.

This video of the fight was was posted on social media where it has been viewed over 32,000 times and shows the uniformed schoolgirl lying on the ground as the mum sits on top of her and repeatedly hits her.

As a huge crowd gathers, the girl gets to her feet and trades blows with the adult woman before police officers step in to break it up.

According to school headmaster Ernestino Morales Cabrera, the fight erupted after the mother confronted the schoolgirl over a disagreement with her daughter.

He said: “I spoke with the beaten girl and she claimed that it happened because of rumours and gossiping.”

Morales Cabrera also said that the school has spoken to both students and their parents and an agreement has been made, with both girls remaining at the school.

However, it is unclear whether the mother is being investigated by the local authorities for brawling with the minor.

Netizen ‘Hugo Martinez Mendoza’ commented: “This is the kind of education many parents give their children. They are our community members of the future, who no doubt will end up blaming everything on the government.”
