This bighearted animal lover who has turned her flat into a ‘pigsty’ and allowed 10 adorable swine – also pictured – to move in much to the annoyance of her neighbours.
The incident took place in the city of Balashikha in the western Russian region of Moscow Oblast after Ksenia Remizova, a professional zoo psychologist and a pig trainer, set up a ‘sty’ at home for nine piglets and a large 100-lb pig in 2013.
According to local media, many neighbours complain about the stink coming from Remizova’s flat.
One resident told local media: “We cannot stand the noise and stench coming from the apartment. It also smells horrible on the stairwell, especially in the summer.”

However, Remizova claims that pigs are one of the cleanest animals around.
She said: “They don’t have sweat glands which is why they can’t smell bad. I’m also looking after the flat’s cleanliness. My pigs are always walked on a lead.”
Moscow Oblast official Tatyana Ivanova said: “Residents should call the local authorities and file a complaint about the violation of building rules and regulations, or just go straight to court.”

Reports said residents have filed a complaint and if found guilty of committing an offence, Remizova could be fined by the local authorities.
