A shocked lawyer has told how her crazed hairdresser stabbed her 27 times with a pair of scissors while he was doing her extensions.

Brazilian influencer Julia Castro, 26, had gone to her regular salon in Aparecida, Sao Paulo State, to get highlights and extensions earlier this month (November).

She was working on her notebook while her hairdresser was doing her extensions when, out of the blue, he began plunging his scissors into her back.

The lawyer started grappling with him during the onslaught and managed to run away. People nearby who heard her cries took her to a local hospital.

The attacker fled the scene but was caught by police following a short search. He is said to have been rambling disjointedly at the time of his arrest.

According to Julia, he had shouted during the attack that he “needed to put the sword in the serpent”.

She later revealed: “I had never noticed any strange behaviour. But that day he was strange, drinking a lot of coffee, smoking one cigarette after another.”

She told of the moment of the attack, saying: “When he was doing my extensions while I was on my notebook, he started giving me lots of scissor blows in my back.

“I got a shock, I stood up, I turned to him and asked what was going on. Then he started giving me lots of scissor blows in the arm.

“I tripped him, he fell, and he pulled me down with him. He gave me lots of scissor blows in the leg. I bit him and managed to run away.”

Her attacker was arrested and underwent psychological tests. He is charged with attempted murder.

Civil Police are investigating the case.

Julia describes herself as a “specialist in narcotics trafficking” on Instagram, where she has 29,600 followers.
