This is the moment an out-of-control Lada careers over to the wrong side of the road crashing head-on with another Lada coming in the other direction causing both cars to disintegrate.

The footage was captured on a dashboard camera by a car travelling along a road in the city of Sudak in the south-eastern part of the Crimean peninsula – the territory recognised by many countries as Ukrainian but annexed by Russia as the republic of Crimea in March 2014.

As the car approaches a crossroads, and begins to turn right, a Lada drives past and a few metres later collides head-on with another Lada that has drifted onto the wrong side of the road as it rounds a corner.
