This is the moment an amazed young girl thinks she must be seeing double when she seems to spot herself in a fashion store poster.

The youngster had been shopping with her mum at a mall in Nantong, Jiangsu province, eastern China on 16th October, when she was stopped in her tracks by the ad.

As soon as the seven-year-old saw the poster, she pointed at it and shouted: “Mum, this child and I look alike!”

Mother Ms Wang decided to capture the moment and filmed her daughter grinning widely next to the poster.

Ms Wang told local media: “She thinks this is amazing. She is very happy about that picture.”

Netizens noticed how not only were the girls the spitting image of each other, but they also had the same bob hairstyle and were even dressed in the same colour.

Some suggested the girls were twins, while others claimed it was not a coincidence after all and that the girl was actually posing next to a snap of herself.

Netizen ‘Xiaochao’ joked: “The script, this store was opened by her mother, she put her daughter’s poster at the door, and then recorded a video and posted it online.”

While social media user ‘know how to act perfunctory’ jibed: “Go home and ask your husband.”

But eagle-eyed ‘hold fast’ observed: “Different teeth.”
