TREESY DOES IT: Armed Suspect Arrested After Crashing Into Tree During Police Chase

This is the moment Oklahoma City Police Officers arrest an armed suspect who tried to flee in a stolen vehicle but ended up crashing into a tree.

Oklahoma City Officers rushed into action after receiving reports from the local Sheriff’s Office that a man, later identified as Hunter Berry, 22, drove around in a stolen car.

With the help of a police helicopter, officers were able to track down Berry and keep pursuing him as he kept trying to escape.

At some point, Berry drove through the gate of a residence.

While on the property, Berry exited the stolen vehicle he was in, and attempted to take the homeowner’s vehicle.

Berry was unsuccessful in taking the second vehicle but did find a handgun inside the homeowner’s vehicle.

He returned to the vehicle he was previously driving and fled the property, still armed.

Oklahoma City Police attempted to stop the fleeing driver by using a manoeuvre known as a tactical vehicular intervention multiple times but were ineffective.

As Berry passed an Oklahoma City Officer, he fired at the officer and struck his patrol vehicle.

The dangerous pursuit ultimately came to an end when Berry drove into a tree while trying to drive through a wooded area.

He was quickly surrounded and put into handcuffs after a short physical struggle.

The handgun used by Berry was recovered from where he was arrested.

Police officials said there were thankfully no injuries to members of the community or officers due to Berry’s egregious actions.

He was booked into Oklahoma County Detention Center on multiple complaints.
