A married couple’s winter fun almost ended in disaster when the husband who was being pulled behind their car on an inflatable cushion demolished an air conditioner unit.

The husband and wife, who were not named in local media, were playing in the snow in Harbin, in the Heilongjiang Province, China, on 30th November.

But their fun was cut-short only after one lap of driving the car-tied inflatable in circles when the husband, who sat on the device, struck a nearby AC.

CCTV footage shows when he veers far off to the right and bumps into an air conditioner as the inflatable uncontrollably slides off.

Thankfully, the wife appears to have noticed the makeshift sledge moving too fast and slows the car down, preventing a major accident..

The wife carefully drives to a complete stop and the husband gets up, seemingly unharmed, as the footage cuts.

The video was later shared on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Netizens joked about suspecting the wife might have secretly been holding a grudge against the husband.

User ‘Dean Yann’ wrote: “Is it possible that it was intentional.”

User ‘May smiles’ said: “This is to murder.”

Other netizens jokingly asked whether the pair were drunk-driving.

And user ‘ordinary citizen’ said: “So it was you who broke the air conditioner.”
