This is the shocking moment a hunter shoots a dog dead in front of its owners because the pooch had run after a duck he was hunting.
The disturbing scene took place in the city of Chelyabinsk in the western Russian region of Chelyabinsk Oblast when two women were walking their pet husky named Archie.

The pooch falls into a puddle in a motionless heap as the women shout at the man in shock.
The puddle quickly turns red with blood and of the women then tries to pull the dog to safety but it is clearly dead. The woman recording is audibly emotional.
Dubrovin said he would deal with the case personally, promising to do everything possible to catch the hunter and hold him accountable for the crime.
He said the perpetrator faces up to three years behind bars if found guilty.
