A woman who owns two pit bulls has apparently been killed by them at home in Texas over the weekend.

It is believed that the attack in the home at 7200 block of Royal Arms Drive in West El Paso, Texas, happened around 6 PM on Sunday which is when cops were called.

The 59-year-old woman victim’s daughter turned up at the residence around this time, and discovered the body, and then alerted authorities,

Police who attended the scene are baffled as to why the dogs would have carried out the attack, as they said both animals had water and food in their bowls and appeared to be well looked after.

However, a statement from the Department confirmed that “all indications are that the two pit bull dogs killed the woman owner”.

The local Animal Control officers seized both dogs that have been impounded by the investigation continues.

The woman was not named and the investigation is continuing.
