Sexy romance novelist and influencer Zorannah has sparked outrage by saying she would prefer to be rich and unhappy than poor.

Serbian writer Zorana Jovanovic, 29, better known as Zorannah, made the comment while holding a Q&A with her online fans.

The curvy brunette, who used to be a model and boasts 900,000 Instagram followers, was asked what she would prefer out of being rich and unhappy or penniless.

When the Amazon romance novelist said that she would prefer to be rich and unhappy, many of her followers slammed her for being superficial.

‘KrizicKruzic’ commented: “I am so disappointed.”

Netizen ‘GigaMoravac’ said: “She seems like a nice girl, but she is talking utter rubbish.”

‘Vanja Pavlovic’ wrote: “’Sad and rich, yes that’s how you live your life.”

‘Ilhana’ remarked: “She seems so lonely.”

‘Jovana Zdero’ said: “It is a very sad indication of where we are today and how this successful woman thinks.”

After her father’s death, the former model started a blog named ‘Zorannah’s Fashion Corner’ in 2011 and she later launched a YouTube channel.

She wrote her first book ‘Zorannah: Life and Style’ in 2015 and has since published three others including two romance novels.
