A Russian rapper Eldzhey who recently lost his driving licence is now being ferried around the city in an armoured amphibious vehicle while blaring out loud music.

The incident was filmed in the city of Nizhny Novgorod, in the western Russian region of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast which is the home of Eldzhey, 27, also known as Allj or SayonaraBoy, .

Eldzhey, who was recently banned for drink-driving, cruised the city streets in the armoured amphibious vehicle while blaring out loud music, as can be seen in the video.

He posted the clip on Instagram Stories for his 4.3 million followers.

In the footage, Eldzhey, real name Alexei Konstantinovich Uzenyuk, is seen saluting onlookers from the hatch of the armoured vehicle before it then carries on along the street, presumably being operated by a pal.

According to Life, the tank had the inscription ‘Oleg Shcheglov’, the name of a popular Russian influencer from Nizhny Novgorod, on it.

It is unclear if the rapper faces any punishment for his tank patrol through the city streets.

Last month, Eldzhey was reportedly banned for 19 months for drink-driving after being stopped in a BMW i8 in May 2021

According to Life, the rapper was travelling with his wife, TV presenter Nastya Ivleeva, at the time.

He reportedly refused to undergo an alcohol test or send his vehicle to the car pound as requested and was subsequently fined RUB 30,000 (GBP 295) and banned from driving.
