The manager of Russian bodybuilder Popeye has spoken about the ex-soldier’s recovery after he went under the knife to remove rotting muscle from his arms as seen in this new image.

The 22-year-old injected the oil directly into his arms to give him huge bazooka like biceps that made him an online media celebrity. But it left him at times in agony and shortly before the surgery paralysed and unable to move the two limbs.

In an interview with Central European News (CEN), Kirill Tereshin, 23, said he was feeling much better after initially losing the use of his arms and worrying that he might not be able to move them ever again.

But he has now shared a picture showing not only that he can use his arms, but also posing with a lump of flesh that he claimed was the rotten muscle extracted from his body.

He said: “These are my treasures” and then added: “Get yourself a piece, it’s ‘sale’ time.”

He added: “It feels very weird, very unusual. My arm feels lighter. Now I am going through a rehab, soon we will proceed with the next surgery.”

After saying that he was hoping doctors in the UK might help, a stunning Russian WAG known for her charity work offered to help by putting him in touch with doctors and funding an operation to bring him back to normal.

Alana Mamaeva, who is married to FC Krasnodar midfielder Pavel Mamayev dedicates her time to helping victims of botched cosmetic treatments, and reached out to Popeye after seeing his appeal for help.

She wrote on Instagram: “Let’s help this guy restore his arms. Sadly, many specialists have refused to help him, but I am sure that I can find a surgeon to take on this complicated case.”

Online commentators however showed little sympathy for the wannabe Popeye.

‘chapaieva7’ said: “You are mental.”

Another one ‘aleksandr_______you’ added: “You are such a shame to your nation, poor ancestors of yours, they must be really ashamed of you.”

While ‘kirill_kostadinov’ jokingly commented: “Seriously dude, could you have pulled your shorts even higher?!?!”
