ROAD TO NOWHERE: Unbe-leaf-able Chaos Of Logger’s Sign Slip

This is the hilarious moment a bungling trucker accidentally rips up a huge road sign and then puts it back in a completely different location.

The massive sign was set up over the road to indicate that it was the entrance to the Kefeli neighbourhood, once a village, near the city of Tarsus in south-central Turkey.

The lorry has been piled high with branches from a logging operation at a local forest when the driver attempts to go under the road sign carrying the words Kefeli Neighbourhood.

Although it is rooted in the ground into heavy concrete blocks, the driver manages to tear the sign out of the ground and then carries on down the road, turning the corner and dragging the road sign with him.

When the driver apparently realises what he has done, he stops and reverses, trying to dislodge the sign.

But as the sign rights itself resting perfectly on the concrete base, it is now sending traffic to a completely different place.

The footage was captured on a traffic camera and was then widely shared online, causing widespread amusement when it was shared on social media.

Hekim Demirci said: “They put it wrong, the guy just fixed it.”

And Aslan Ali Ihsan added: “Well done master driver, this is what you call talent.”

Abdul Salam said: “The guy just thought ‘I think it’d be better here'”

And Efe Tunc noted: “Definitely better than before.”
